Ali went without incident on Wednesday, a congressional subcommittee on border security detention in a previous talk with the members. Ali and her mother, khalilah Camacho Ali, on February 7 after returning from Jamaica to Fort Lauderdale- Hollywood International Airport is stopped.
Florida Attorney Chris Mancini said Ali on Friday after attempting to board a JetBlue Airways flight home was detained for 20 minutes. Mancini Ali spoke by telephone with officials of the Department of Homeland Security and driver's license and a passport showing him before being allowed to board said.
Ali's identity is confirmed by the agency before boarding the flight, said a spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration.
"None of this was going on," Mancini said in a telephone interview. "Washington is clearly open a can of worms at DHS."
Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Ali was on the same flight. Schultz says that Ali tweeted a picture with the "religion of the 'Greatest' profiling our son would not be safe."
Ali members of Congress on Thursday, he said that his "human rights" have been violated.
"I just woke up. My dad's funeral, I felt like I did not know what to think. I was just dumbfounded," Ali said.
They believe that interviews with the mother and son, have been turned off because they said they were Muslim with Arabic names. Mohammed Ali, Jr., and his mother was born in the United States.
